Often held annually in the month of April, in conjunction with the data management section this workshop is aimed at the National Tuna Data Coordinators (NTDCs) and looks at strengthening national procedures for the collection, management and dissemination of tuna data. The workshop also considers the best methods for preparing annual catch estimates and gives participants time and supervision in completing these estimates before the WCPFC’s 31^st April deadline.
