Monday, 21 February 2011 09:48 |
The OFP provide training when they install database systems (TUFMAN, CES, TUBS, etc.) in the offices of their member countries. This training not only covers how to use the database system (data entry, data quality control and reports), but also other data management topics that countries need to undertake to ensure they have the most complete and accurate information available on their tuna fisheries. Other areas covered by training include:
- Organisation of hard-copy data (e.g. data registration)
- Following-up with fishing companies to ensure all data are provided
- How to include summaries, graphs and maps produced from database reports into documents
